Su Bingtian participated in the men's 100m and men's 4X100m relay in this Olympic Games.
In the men's 100m semifinals, Su Bingtian broke the Asian record with a time of 9.83 seconds, ranked first and entered the final, becoming my country's first athlete to enter the men's 100m final, and finally ranked sixth in the final.
In the men's 4X100m relay final, Su Bingtian and his teammates ran 37.79 seconds, tying the national record and ranking fourth.
Prior to this, Liu Xiang served as the flag bearer of the Chinese sports delegation at the closing ceremony of the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Su Bingtian said that it is the glory of Chinese track and field people to be the standard bearer.
