This was reported by the press service of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

“In the interests of the well-being of Belarusian athletes who are still in Tokyo, and as a temporary measure, the IOC canceled the accreditation of two coaches - Shimak and Moisevich.

They immediately left the Olympic Village, ”the statement said.

Recall that Timanovskaya on social networks criticized the decision of the leadership of the national team of Belarus, having learned that she was announced for the 4 × 400 m relay at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Later, the athlete asked the IOC for help, saying that they were trying to take her out of Tokyo without consent.

On August 2, the Polish Foreign Ministry announced that it had received the Timanovskaya humanitarian visa.

The Polish authorities also issued a humanitarian visa to Arseniy Zdanevich, the husband of a Belarusian athlete.
