English Premier League champions Manchester City have announced the signing of England international Jack Grealish, from Aston Villa, on a six-year deal.

City did not disclose the money, but British media reported that the deal cost 100 million pounds ($139.27 million) to make Grealish the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League.

Grealish, 25, emerged with the English national team in the last European Championship, and contributed to the team's arrival in the final, before losing the title to Italy.

Grealish also starred with Aston Villa, especially last season, in which he scored 6 goals.

The midfielder played 213 games with Aston Villa over 8 seasons, scoring 32 goals and providing 43 assists.
