Sweden has participated in all Olympic editions since women's football was added to the program in 1996. Most recently, at the London Olympics in 2016, Blågult won a silver medal after the final loss to Germany.
Now they have the opportunity to take home the long-awaited gold.

She was forced to turn down the championship due to expansion in the family.

The center line becomes important
Sweden was set against Canada in the World Cup eighth in 2019. Then the Swedes left as winners after Stina Blackstenius scored the only goal of the match.

Fischer is, just like Sandell Svensson, optimistic before the match - and she has a super tip.
- The chances are very great to win tomorrow.
They have been able to walk around many players, perform incredibly good football and have been effective in front of goal.
I think it will be 3-1 to Sweden.
