Justice rendered its decision Thursday with regard to television rights for the broadcasting of Ligue 1. The Canal + channel will finally have to broadcast the matches and pay a bill of 68 million euros expected by the League. .

The Nanterre commercial court on Thursday ordered Canal + to pay and broadcast two Ligue 1 matches per day as of Saturday under its sub-licensing agreement with beIN Sports, we learned from sources familiar with the case.

It is therefore Canal + which will have to broadcast Troyes-Paris SG on Saturday and Metz-Lille on Sunday, and to pay the invoice of 68 million euros including tax expected by the League on Thursday, according to this decision.

The day before, the Paris judicial court had ordered beIN Sports to ensure the broadcasting of these meetings alongside Amazon, but the Qatari broadcaster had turned against the encrypted channel, bound by a contract that it must now honor under penalty of a fine of one million euros per day of delay, according to these same sources.
