The Korean women's volleyball team succeeded in advancing to the quarterfinals by defeating Turkey after a full set match.



Korea defeated Turkey with a set score of 3-2 in the women's quarterfinals of the Tokyo Olympics volleyball team held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan on the 4th.



In the world rankings updated by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) before the match, Korea was ranked 13th and Turkey was 4th.



Korean women's volleyball won the Olympic bronze medal at the 1976 Montreal Games for the first time in the history of Korean ball games.
