Three important points were collected on the Eskilstuna account when Smederna took the third straight win.

It was the team's ninth victory of the season and the journey home from Gislaved is supposed to be pleasant.

- I think we start the match incredibly strong and keep the lead throughout.

The Lions come in here at the end, but overall we make a great match, says Pontus Aspgren, who in many ways led Smederna to victory with his ten points, to Sportkanalen.

Great start for the guests

The blacksmiths got the best possible start against the Lions when they started with a fifth in the first heat.

Already there they set the standard for the match.

After six heats, Smederna had a fairly comfortable lead of 22-14 and before the ninth heat, they had a proper lead with a full twelve points.

In just heat nine, before the long break, the Lions took in with two points and reduced the Smiths' lead to 32-22.

Came back

The Gislaved team then had a nice trend and won three of five heats between the ninth and thirteenth, but that would not be enough.

The match was won by Smederna with 47-43, just like the previous meeting of the season between the teams.

- The track was nice, but it was very difficult to drive again, it was mostly following John, I think, says Aspgren.

The Dane impressed - again

In addition to Pontus Aspgren, Michael Jepsen Jensen made a nice effort with his eleven points.

Another who did a good competition was Kacper Woryna who impressed for the table with his six points.

They were also the ones who took the fifth in the first heat.

- We make a really good team effort all the way through.

It is difficult to win in Gislaved, we already knew that it would be one of the tougher away matches of the year.

We had to be good from the start and we succeeded so we are satisfied, says Aspgren according to the Eskilstuna courier.

The Masers faced the Ducks on Tuesday and won 61-29.

Vetlanda received the Pirates at home and won in large numbers.

The match ended 69-21.

The blacksmiths now lead the table with three points ahead of the Lions.

The league leader has also made one competition less.
