The Dubai Club for People of Determination and the Kuwaiti Challenge for the Disabled signed a cooperation agreement in various fields, according to the latest scientific visions, in order to achieve common goals between them, within the framework of the pioneering social, cultural and sports role played by Dubai for People of Determination. This came during a press conference held yesterday, at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council in Dubai, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council Saeed Hareb, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council Nasser Al Rahma, the Chairman of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, Thani Jumaa Balrakad, and Vice-President of the Council The club’s management is Muhammad Abdul Karim Julfar, the President of the Asian Paralympic Committee and the Executive Director of the “Dubai Club for People of Determination” Majid Al-Osaimi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Challenge Club for the Disabled Muhammad Al-Otaibi, and the Executive Director of the Kuwaiti Club Mishaal Al-Otaibi.
During the conference, Belrakad said: “The agreement allows transferring expertise to brothers in Kuwait, qualifying cadres, organizing various events, and providing advice, after (Dubai for People of Determination) trained many different cadres during the Fazza International Championships over 12 years.”
For his part, Majid Al-Osaimi confirmed that "the Asian Paralympic Committee has approved three centers of excellence in Asia, which are Dubai, China and Uzbekistan," noting that "Dubai for People of Determination" had previously concluded many memoranda of understanding worldwide, so that the Fazza International Championships would be the main station for holding the Fazza International Championships. Many accompanying and qualifying courses for all cadres.
Al-Osaimi said: "During the Fazza International Championships hosted by the club, we organized 86 specialized courses, and we look forward to making (Dubai for People of Determination) a global center for exchanging experiences, to reach the desired goals."
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Challenge Club for the Disabled, Muhammad Al-Otaibi, thanked the Dubai Sports Council for the great efforts it is making in developing sports in general and people of determination in particular in the Emirate of Dubai, describing "Dubai for People of Determination" as a "global club".
Mohammed Al-Otaibi expressed his happiness with the agreement, which adds a lot to Al-Tahadi Club at all levels, according to joint programmes, looking forward for his club to be among the ranks of international clubs, similar to "Dubai for People of Determination".
