Maurice Larrouy, Olympic champion at the Paris Games in 1900, is no longer alone in the history of French rapid pistol shooting at 25m.

Jean Quinquampoix joined him on Monday, August 2, 2021. Five years ago, in Rio de Janeiro, the Parisian won the silver medal.

It was the first podium for a Habs since 1900.

In Tokyo, at the Osaka shooting range, this time he climbed to the top step.

Qualified for the final with the second best total of the semi-finals, Jean Quiquampoix was imperial.

However, he had a big competition against him with in particular the German Christian Reitz, reigning Olympic champion, and the Cuban Leuris Pupo, Olympic champion in 2012.
