16,978 hours of occupancy at Dubai Sports World stadiums
The Dubai Sports Council revealed that the 11th edition of the "Dubai Sports World" continues to attract thousands of athletes, visitors and media professionals from around the world, who benefit from the various and distinguished activities to practice sports in air-conditioned halls throughout the summer. In a statement yesterday, the council said: “More than 95,000 people participated in the sporting events held in this fun summer sporting event organized by the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai World Trade Center and will continue until the end of next September, and includes 23 stadiums to hold activities within eight sports: Football, basketball, cricket, badminton, tennis, volleyball, padel tennis and table tennis. He explained:“The number of hours that the participants have occupied in the activities held at all Dubai Sports World stadiums since the beginning of the summer vacation has reached 16,978 hours, as the events are very popular with athletes of different ages and nationalities, who flock daily to enjoy all the activities from eight in the morning until midnight In accordance with the precautionary measures stipulated by the directives issued by the Dubai Government and the Dubai Sports Council, to ensure that sports fans and professional athletes are accommodated in every stadium in complete safety.”
