The Football Association announced in a press conference held at its headquarters in Dubai, with its counterpart the Sudanese Football Association, the details of hosting the Sudanese national team camp in the Emirates, starting from the 20th of this month in Dubai. He said, "They will provide all the requirements related to the Sudanese national team camp in the UAE, to achieve the maximum technical benefit from this camp, in preparation for the upcoming benefits."

The Secretary-General of the Football Association, Mohammed bin Hazam, pointed to the great imprint left by the Sudanese players who previously played in the UAE league, and contributed clearly to the development of Emirati football nearly 50 years ago.

Mohammed bin Hazam said: "By hosting the expected Sudanese team camp, we seek to repeat the scenario of the great success achieved by the Sudanese summit, represented by the Al Hilal and Al Merreikh clubs, which was held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium at Al Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi in 2018."

Bin Hazam continued, "We have provided all the requirements requested by the Sudanese mission, whether in terms of special stadiums, training and friendly matches that he will play during the camp, in addition to establishing a health protocol for the presence of members of the Sudanese mission in the country to ensure their safety."

In turn, the Vice President of the Sudanese Football Association, Hassan Bargo, praised the great support that the Sudanese team found, and thanked His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his directives to provide all the requirements that the Sudanese team needs during its upcoming camp in the country.

He added, "The Sudanese team will benefit greatly from the upcoming camp in all aspects, especially in terms of good preparation for the benefits, whether the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup or the Arab Cup."
