Police are chasing "drunk" athletes who caused chaos in the Tokyo Olympics village

The "Fuji News Network" revealed that the Japanese police are pursuing a group of drunk athletes from different countries, after they drank alcoholic beverages, and caused a state of noise in the streets of the Olympic Village, in violation of the rules of residence in the village.

The network relied on the statements of the Olympic Organizing Committee, in which it confirmed that stars in the Tokyo Olympics will face disciplinary measures, after informing the police of the existence of gatherings for drinking alcoholic drinks inside the Olympic village.

The network addressed the statements of the CEO of the Olympic Organizing Committee, Toshiro Muto, by saying: “Many athletes and members of the delegations were in the park inside the Olympic Village and drank alcoholic drinks,” adding, “The organizing committee is aware of the incident, and we are investigating the matter, based on the results.” Appropriate action will be taken."
