Kazunori Takishima is a big fan of the Olympics.

The 45-year-old Japanese businessman has been to every Games, both winter and summer, since those in Turin in 2006. So when he found out that the 2020 games would be held in his country, he bought 197 tickets, for more than 30,000 euros.

His goal: to benefit his family, friends and employees.

But with the pandemic, spectators were not allowed to enter the stadiums where the events are taking place.

Kazunori Takishima therefore had to content himself with watching the competitions behind his screen.

Small consolation: he could, like all Japanese, be reimbursed in full by the Olympic Committee, unlike holders of foreign tickets, who will not necessarily be reimbursed for their agency fees.
