SVT Sports Vinterstudion has been nominated for two international TV awards.
At the SVG Europe Awards, which will be held on October 28 at Stamford Bridge, the program, which is the company of millions of TV viewers on the weekends, can receive an award for the year's premier sports production, as well as the "One Planet Award".
An award that goes to the sports production that has made the main contribution to a sustainable production environment.
- The winter studio was a safe weekend hub that attracted large audiences on SVT last winter.
Despite all the real challenges that covid-19 brought with it, the editors managed to develop the program to a level that is actually unparalleled in European winter sports television.
That is why we are incredibly happy and proud to be nominated for this international TV award, which especially focuses on courage and innovation, two areas that we hold enormously high on SVT Sport, says SVT Sports' sports director Åsa Edlund Jönsson.
At the gala, six prizes will be awarded, and the jury, which selected the nominees, will come from the British SportsTV Awards.
