Seattle Kraken is said to have recruited 26-year-old Alexander Wennberg, who was available on the free agent market that opened on Wednesday.

According to information, the Swede gets a contract worth SEK 39 million per season.

Wennberg, who most recently came from the Florida Panthers, will be Kraken's third Swede.

The club, which will be the NHL's 32nd from the upcoming season, chose defender Adam Larsson and forward Calle Järnkrok in the expansion draft that was carried out due to Kraken's creation.

Former Frölunda forward Wennberg has made seven seasons so far in the NHL.

Six in the Columbus Blue Jackets and the most recent in the Florida Panthers.

His best scoring season so far was 2016/2017, 59 points (thirteen goals, 46 assists) in 80 games.

Patrik Nemeth, who also became available as a free agent, is ready for the New York Rangers and thus leaves Colorado.
