In the women's fencing team semifinals held at Makuhari Messe Hall B, South Korea will face off against China, the world's No.

Korea's Epee team, consisting of Injeong Choi, Youngmi Kang, and Sera Song, advanced to the semifinals by defeating the US in the quarterfinals.  

In the Korean national team, Song Se-ra was the first to play.

A careful search battle ensued, and China's Zhu Mingye scored the first goal.

Then, as China scored in a row, the score gap widened to 0-3.

However, as Song Sera succeeded in attacking one after another, the first round ended 2-3-2.
