Windsurfer Kiran Badloe finished second in today's sixth - and final - race.

After six of the thirteen heats, Badloe is therefore on 15 points, 1 point ahead of Italian Mattia Camboni.

Third is the Swiss Mateo Sanz Lanz with 20 points.

After the first day Badloe was still third in the standings.

Three more races are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.

The medal race will be sailed on Saturday 31 July.

Mathieu van der Poel dropped out of the mountain bike race at the Tokyo Games earlier today.

The Olympic dream of the 26-year-old Dutchman already shattered in the opening phase due to a hard crash.

The gold went to British top talent Tom Pidcock, while Milan Vader finished tenth.

    She climbed from eighteenth to twelfth place in the standings.

    Bouwmeester had a difficult start on Sunday.
