Stina Källberg was in the lead with 3-0 in sets and looked to get a calm ride to the second round of the table tennis tournament.

Then her opponent Jieni Shao turned the match around and won the next four sets.

The Portuguese won 8–11, 9–11, 10–12, 11–6, 11–5, 11–8, 11–6.

Thus, the 21-year-old from Borlänge has clearly played in the women's singles in the Olympics, and the same applies to the tournament's other Swede, Linda Bergström.

The 26-year-old had the lead with 3-1 in sets in the even match against the Indian Sutirtha Mukherjee - but lost to 3-3 and then fell in the decisive seventh set.
