Man United extends coach Solskjaer's contract until 2024

Manchester United, the English Premier League runner-up, announced yesterday the extension of the contract of its current coach, Norwegian Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, for an additional three years, with an option to renew for an additional year.

The former (Red Devils) striker, who took over from Jose Mourinho in 2018, will remain at Old Trafford, at least until 2024, when the new contract includes the option to renew for an additional year.

"Everyone knows the feeling I have for this club, and I'm happy to sign this new contract," Solskjaer, 48, told the club's official website.
