This time, when he was still on the first base with a walk, Ryuwei Takiguchi went up to the mound as the third player and defended the lead by hitting the double play of the short liner.

After this, Nihon University Yamagata, who added 2 points, won 9-7 and won the championship, deciding to participate in Koshien for the first time in 4 years.

Nihon University Yamagata captain Takuto Sato said, "I was able to play baseball in Nihon University Yamagata, which is hot, muddy, and tenacious. I want to improve my level and play with confidence as a representative of Yamagata Prefecture at Koshien." ..
