The information comes from a doctor, member of the Scientific Technical Committee of the Italian Football Federation.
On Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Francesco Braconaro said Thursday that in its current state, Christian Eriksen could not play again with Inter Milan in Serie A. The 29-year-old midfielder suffered serious discomfort on June 12 in Copenhagen during the Denmark-Finland match, at the very start of the Euro.
He was then fitted with an automatic cardiac defibrillator, but it is impossible to play with such a device in Italy.
"Here, Christian Eriksen could not be eligible," said Francesco Braconaro.
If the defibrillator is removed because the pathology can be resolved, then he can replay for Inter.
The former Tottenham attacking midfielder is under contract with the Nerazzurri until June 2024.
