Yesterday, the 20-year-old Ugandan weightlifter Julius Ssekitoleko was found who disappeared from a training camp in Osaka last Friday.

After he was found on Tuesday, he is said to have answered questions in tears and now he will be sent back to Uganda, the Japanese news agency Kyodo News writes.

The Ugandan embassy in Japan has commented on the events in a statement.

"All questions about the alleged deviation from the duties he had flown into Japan to carry out and the disappearance from the training camp, will be dealt with appropriately when he returns to Uganda," they write.

After Ssekitoleko, who traveled to Japan as a reserve when the country lacked a quota place for the 67-kilo class, disappeared, a note was found in which he wrote that he wanted to work in Japan and that his belongings would be taken home to his wife in Uganda.

He was found in Yokkaichi, Mie, 170 km from his hotel where he recharged before the games.

- He was found in a house belonging to people he is connected to.

He did not resist and spoke sincerely, a spokesman from the police said yesterday according to TT.
