[Explanation] The Chinese delegation has successively stationed in the Olympic Village in Tokyo, Japan, and the Chinese flag has been hung up.

On July 20, the reporter met two volunteers from China in the Olympic Village. They told the reporter their story of serving in the Olympic Village.

[Explanation] Both volunteers are students studying in Japan, serving the Qatar delegation in the Olympic Village.

[Concurrent] Tian Ruoqi, a Chinese volunteer in the Olympic Village

Our position is NOC (National and Regional Olympic Committee) assistant, so basically it is to assist each country to which we are assigned. If there is any need for his NOC, we can help them complete it.

Because of our study abroad background, first of all we can speak Chinese, and then we are studying in Japan now, we can speak Japanese, and in fact, all of us have good English proficiency, so we actually have a multilingual background.

So the biggest support that our multilingual background can give is actually in this kind of communication, and then the players behind them can give some of the biggest support in these aspects.

[Explanation] Although serving the Qatar delegation, Tian Ruoqi had the opportunity to serve the Chinese delegation. This is also an unforgettable experience for her.

The other delegations that we have contacted, the state of competition is actually very different.

When I entered the house, I felt a state of working hard, fighting, and fighting. It was a strong competitive state.

Although the players hadn't come yet, I think we were already doing some of our preparations. Then we were helping the Chinese team count the keys to the room. I felt that every detail was confirmed to ensure the players' lives after they entered the village. Something (smoothly).

[Explanation] It is exciting to serve the Chinese team, but as volunteers working in the Olympic village and often in contact with athletes from various countries, the two need to pay special attention to epidemic prevention.

The two told reporters that Japan actually has many epidemic prevention measures to ensure safety, but many of them require the conscious and self-discipline of participants.

The first is that alcohol is placed at every entrance in various places, and then even at all corners, in fact, they have alcohol in them, and then there are transparent partitions on the restaurant.

[Concurrent] Shao Yuqian, a Chinese volunteer in the Olympic Village

In summary, there are certain defensive measures, but they still rely mainly on such a situation consciously.

[Explanation] At present, there have been confirmed cases of the new crown in the Olympic Village, and some of the volunteers in the Olympic Village have also withdrawn because of this, but Tian Ruoqi and Shao Yuqian both plan to stick to it.

Now we will be more cautious. For example, after three days of activities, we have already submitted our own saliva samples. We will wear several masks every day. Then we will have alcohol disinfection and alcohol disinfection. While ensuring our own health, we also treat others. Kind of responsible.

[Explanation] For the two volunteers, doing a good job in epidemic prevention is not only to protect themselves, but also to persist in doing a good job in Olympic services, and to use volunteer service in a foreign country to cheer for Chinese athletes.

If we have free time, we would really like to help the Chinese team. No matter what, everyone in our group, China’s current Tokyo Olympic volunteers, are all eager to cheer for the Chinese team. Even with a little effort from the team, we are all very happy.
