Nathalie Björn and Anna Anvegård recently left for Everton.

During the summer, FC Rosengård has strengthened the squad with Bianca Schmidt, who left Turbine Potsdam for games in the damallsvenskan.

Now the club has finished with another player.

The Danish midfielder, who can also play outside forward, Federikke Thogersen has signed a two-year contract.

- I have chosen to go to Rosengård because it is a top team in Scandinavia and they have high ambitions, both in the league and Europe.

I look forward to working in a well-structured team, and it is of course a bonus that it will be close to home to Denmark, says Frederikke Thøgersen, according to FC Rosengård's website.

She most recently came from Italian ACF Fiorentina and has previously made 54 international appearances for Denmark.

- This is a player that we have been aware of for a long time.

Her speed and willingness to run is unique and will enable us to attack in a completely different way, says sports director Therese Sjögran.

FC Rosengård is in a damallsvensk first place.
