Emme-Nellie Örtendahl won the gold in Hungarian Levelek.

But it was a thriller against Swedish colleague Jonna Borgström.

Örtendahl won in the end with a meager point, 138 against Borgström's 137 in the class Ski Ladies GP1.

- I am so very happy with my performance in this championship, I did exactly what it took to get the gold and it feels absolutely fantastic, she says in a press release.

Won by a margin of one point

Örtendahl won on his evenness.

She won a heat on her jet ski, and came second in the other two.

That was enough to sniff Borgström for the gold.

- It is incredibly exciting that the racing is as tight as it is right now in our class, and that it is me and Jonna who fight for the prizes.

All heat wins throughout the European Championships have gone to Sweden, which is a feat in itself.

We will continue to work hard before the World Cup as well, so then there will be even more entertainment, that is the plan in any case, says Emma-Nellie Örtendahl.

There were also two Swedish European Championship bronzes on the men's side.

Linus Lindberg from Orust in GP2 and Lidköping's Felix Helgesson in GP3.
