Saturday's speedway GP competition had to be postponed after the eleventh heat when heavy rain made the track too unsafe.

When they restarted the competition on Sunday, Prague offered sun and a much better course.

Fredrik Lindgren did not open as strongly as he did in Saturday's competition.

After his first four heats he was in a bad position and in his last heat he had to take at least two points for promotion.

It was a tough heat where Lindgren had to struggle hard against Jason Doyle but took the two points and was on as the last driver.

Difficult final

In the semifinals, Lindgren finished second and made it to the finals.

Once there, it was tough driving and it was really smooth.

Before the last lap, Lindgren was last, but thanks to offensive and tough riding, he managed to pinch a third place after driving around Emil Sajfutdinov.

Artem Laguta won the final.

Maciej Janowski was second.

After today's third place, Lindgren, who was excluded from the final on Friday, is fourth in total.

The competition's second Swede, Oliver Berntzon, finished last on Sunday.

The GP series continues with double competitions in Poland July 30-31.
