Soccer J1 Yokohama F. Marinos has announced that Australian Kevin Muscat has reached a basic agreement to become the new coach.

F. Marinos retired mid-season as Postecoglou, who led the team to victory for the first time in 15 years, will take over as Scottish Premier League Celtic coach.

The club has requested Muscat, who has been a coach under Postecoglou, to continue his aggressive football and has reached a basic agreement.

Muscat is 47 years old.

During his active career, he played in a total of 70 games as the Australian national team, and after retiring he was the coach of the Australian team, and last season he commanded the Belgian First Division Sint-Truiden.

Through the club, Muscat said, "I am very much looking forward to taking on new challenges in Asia's most competitive J-League. I want to build on what Postecoglou has built up and do my best to run through this season." I have commented.
