It is reported that the Tokyo Olympic Games is the largest overseas Olympic Games of the Chinese sports delegation.

　　The Tokyo Olympics has 33 major events and 339 minor events. The Chinese sports delegation signed up to participate in 30 major events and 225 minor events except surfing, baseball and softball, and handball. .

Among them, table tennis, badminton, weightlifting, diving, synchronized swimming, trampoline, archery, kayaking still water, modern pentathlon, mountain biking, golf, three-person basketball, rock climbing, etc. have registered for the competition.

　　The average age of the 431 athletes is 25.4 years. The youngest is the 14-year-old diving athlete Quan Hongchan, and the 52-year-old equestrian athlete Li Zhenqiang is the oldest athlete.

　　Among the athletes, 138 have participated in the Olympics, accounting for 32.02% of the total number of athletes, of which 131 have participated in the 2016 Rio Olympics; 293 have participated in the Olympics for the first time, accounting for 67.98% of the total number of athletes.

Among the athletes, 24 people in 11 events are Olympic champions, 19 of them are Rio Olympic champions, including Cao Yuan, Zhao Shuai, Shi Zhiyong, Zhu Ting, Zhong Tianshi, Ma Long, Chen Long and so on.
