According to the announcement by the Games Organizing Committee, IOC President Bach will visit the Peace Memorial Park and the Peace Memorial Museum with President Hashimoto of the Organizing Committee on the 16th to donate flowers to the Atomic Bomb Memorial.



After that, we plan to meet with the A-bomb survivors with Governor Yuzaki of Hiroshima Prefecture and Mayor Matsui of Hiroshima City.



On this day, which is the first day of the UN resolution "Olympic Ceasefire" calling for a truce during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, President Bach will visit the bombed areas to promote the holding of the Olympic Games, which is considered to be a celebration of peace.



On the same day, IOC Vice Chairman Coates will visit Nagasaki to visit the Atomic Bomb Museum, talk with Governor Nakamura of Nagasaki Prefecture and Mayor Tagami of Nagasaki City, and offer flowers at the Memorial Peace Memorial Hall.
