The orienteering star left the Czech Republic with a record-breaking gold harvest in her luggage.

The victory in the final long distance made her the first to take five golds in one and the same WC, a feat she is currently enjoying at home in the hammock.

- It feels absolutely incredible.

Taking all the gold at a World Cup is something I may not have thought was possible.

It feels great, says Alexandersson in SVT.

Sweden won seven of nine gold medals at the World Cup in the Czech Republic.

"Pushing each other"

SVT Sports expert Mats Troeng has pointed out that the success is partly due to the national team being better prepared than ever.

Tove Alexandersson gives her picture:

- We have an incredibly good business with very good leaders around us, a very good team that does everything for us active to be able to perform as well as possible in the competitions.

Then we are a very good group that trains together and constantly pushes each other to develop and get better.

We work a lot as a team, even though it is mostly an individual sport.

Chasing the record

Tove Alexandersson has won 15 World Cup golds and is still chasing the Swiss Simone Niggli's record of 23 World Cup golds.

How much does the Swede focus on the record hunt?

- Not so much actually.

It's a bit difficult to compare, the World Cup program has changed a bit in recent years as well.

I have no plans to quit yet anyway so I hope I will have time to pick up a few more World Cup golds hopefully.

The next competition for Alexandersson will be the World Cup in Idre in mid-August.
