Hungary has been punished for the discriminatory behavior of supporters during the group stage matches of the European Championships in Budapest.

Among other things, the audience must express themselves homophobically.

They will have to play two matches without an audience and pay a fine of 100,000 euros.

It has prompted the country's foreign minister to act.

"The committee that makes such a decision is pathetic and cowardly.

They should be ashamed, "writes Peter Szijjarto on his Facebook page.

"Just like in communism: no need for proof, it is enough to have unanimous reports."

Uefa has also ordered the Hungarian Football Association to display a banner with the text "Equal Game" during its upcoming matches without spectators in the arena.
