Eriksen incident raises demand in Denmark for first aid courses

Interest in first aid courses in Denmark has increased dramatically, after the national team midfielder, Christian Eriksen, fell on the field during a Euro 2020 match against Finland.

The Danish Red Cross said it previously received an average of 45 such requests per month, according to Denmark's Ritzau news agency.

That number rose to 148 in the three weeks after the accident.

As for individuals, the number of applications last June was 1,938, up from 1,708 in the same month last year.
