A punch ends the life of a young Moroccan boxer.. His body is stuck in Spain

Several Moroccan media confirmed during the past hours, the death of the young Moroccan boxer, Salah El-Din Ben Habibi (19 years), due to a strong punch to the head.

The Moroccan newspaper "Daily Life" reported that Salah El-Din, one of the former inmates in the shelters for minors in the Spanish region of Tarragona, has boxing skills, which made him engage in the game.

The young boxer hails from the city of Qalaat al-Saraghna in Morocco, and like many minors, he sought to immigrate to Spain, so he suffered in accommodation centers, before joining a boxing club, showing his skills, and starting to practice them.

In a training match at the Lerida Center, his opponent dealt him a strong blow to the head, which did not help the young boxer, and he died after that, despite the intervention of doctors to try to rescue him and save his life.

The newspaper stated that other problems emerged with the death of Ben Habibi, including his body, which is still stuck, due to the precautionary measures against the Corona virus between Morocco and Spain, especially after the recent tension between the two countries, in addition to the fact that the boxer’s family may lose the life insurance of the dead, because he did not He did not own all the legal papers, which may make his club evade legal responsibility in this regard.
