Takaki Hirose, the Japanese national team of Boccia, has released his practice at the strengthening base set up in the local shopping center, which is a unique ball game held at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Boccia, designed for people with severe motor impairment such as cerebral palsy, is a ball game in which red and blue balls are thrown at each other to compete for how close they are to a white ball.

Hirose, who won the silver medal in the Rio de Janeiro Paralympics group and has been selected as the representative of the Tokyo Paralympics, released the practice on the 8th.

The location is one of the strengthening bases of the Japan Boccia Association, and the vacant store in the shopping center in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture is equipped with a court with the same specifications as the actual Paralympic Games and the latest equipment that can analyze images with up to 5 cameras.

Hirose was able to make good adjustments by doing strength training to train his core and pulling the ball with accurate control as instructed by the coach.

Hirose said, "Permanent courts are hard to find near the local area, and the shopping center has great advantages such as places to eat and toilets for the disabled. I want to make final adjustments in the short period until the Paralympic Games." I was talking.
