It was a tough starting pace and the first lap was passed in 56 seconds.

Lindh was last and worked his way up the field towards the end.

Cuban Rose Mary Almanza won the world time 1.56.28.

- I am happy to be able to do this race in a pressured situation.

It was a brutal pace but I was able to keep my plan.

It was the second race in two minutes in three days, says Lindh, who is nominated for an Olympics by the International Athletics Federation.

However, it is the Swedish Olympic Committee that selects active members for the Olympics.

Kinsey had better feeling than results

Erika Kinsey jumped 1.89 in high jump but already has the Olympic ticket ready.

She had a feeling of jumping higher.

- It felt great and I believed in a personal record, it felt so good, says Kinsey who jumped 1.97.

Fanny Roos also has an Olympic ticket ready.

- 18.96 is perfectly okay for me, says Roos, whose Swedish record from this summer is 19.34, a world shot in the bullet.

Andreas Kramer was never really in the men's 800 meters but ended up a bit down in the field.
