In glorious summer weather, Daniel Ståhl won the discus competition at Stockholm Stadium today.

In his fourth throw, he hit 68.64 and with a smile he jogged into the inner court.

It was the longest throw of all in the competition.

Had the three longest throws

Then it was decided in the last roll.

There, Ståhl faced Kristjan Ceh and Andrius Gudzius.

Then Ståhl threw 68.23, which was enough for victory.

It also meant that Daniel Ståhl's three approved throws were the three longest in the competition (67.33, 68.64, 68.23)

Simon Pettersson finished fourth in the competition at 65.19.
