"Yellow" brand manager (one of the investment companies affiliated with Al-Wasl Club), Ahmed Al-Balushi, revealed that the company aims to reformulate Al-Wasl products through factories in three countries, noting that "eight plastic bottles manufacture Al-Wasl shirt, which is environmentally friendly in The new season.

Al Balushi told "Emirates Today": "Yellow" is one of the investment companies affiliated with Al-Wasl, and it was established, licensed and registered in 2017, to become a brand owned by the club, and it went through several stages until the decision was made to supply sportswear and equipment for the club's first team in the new season 2021- 2022, noting that this is just the beginning of the goals that the company seeks to achieve, pointing out that it plans to be a supplier to many Arab Gulf League clubs, and not only the Emperor.

Al-Balushi added: "The most prominent feature of it is that it is a 100% Emirati company run by four citizens, and it seeks to reformulate the products of Al-Wasl Club, after different factories were selected in three countries: China, Thailand and Taiwan to manufacture them."

Regarding the stages it is going through, he said: “In the first stage, the focus was on testing the samples to ensure their quality, as the clothes for the basketball teams were supplied, while notes that need to be modified were taken, especially since each sport has special requirements.”

He continued, "The second phase lasted for two sports seasons, during which the clothes of all Al-Wasl club teams were supplied, except for the football team, and the same for the under-21 team, where they had their own clothes."

He continued: “We have reached the third stage, which we have been seeking from the beginning to supply the clothes for the first football team, which is a very important stage that will not be the last for us, especially as we plan in the fourth stage for the next season to become (Yellow) a supplier of a number of From the clubs of the Arab Gulf League, and it is not only limited to Al Wasl.”

He pointed out that adjustments will be made to the brand next season to suit other clubs, and said: "It would not be logical for the brand name (Yellow), which means yellow, which is the color that symbolizes Al-Wasl Club, and to be placed on the shirts of other clubs, Therefore, a special design was launched for this stage, limited to the letter (Y), in line with many international companies that bear their own name, while at the same time their logo is different.”

Regarding the benefits that Al-Wasl Club achieved by obtaining sportswear and equipment for the club through the company, he said: “International companies do not meet the requirements of clubs within the country, especially since these companies offer 4 or 5 different designs that the club has the right to choose from, and do not give him the opportunity to choose the design that It suits him, which often makes us find a great similarity in the shirts of the clubs that contract with the same company.”

And he added, "Al-Wasl's contract with an Emirati company will contribute significantly to reducing expenses related to the supply of sports clothing and equipment, especially since contracting with international companies is very high, while at the same time there will be no neglect in the aspects of quality and raw materials for clothing and tools."

He explained that the Al-Wasl shirt is “environmentally friendly” in addition to being highly compatible with the high temperatures inside the country. He explained: “Many sportswear companies are interested in that their materials are recycled and be environmentally friendly, and this matter was among our calculations, as The factory that will supply the club’s clothes, has a patent for recycling clothes, which makes each Al Wasl club shirt made from eight plastic bottles, which is a very excellent number, and is considered the best in this field, and outperforms other companies that need about 30 A plastic bottle for the manufacture of one shirt.

He concluded his statements by saying: "The materials for the Al-Wasl shirt include very modern technologies that have been called 'Wye Dry', a feature that helps the shirt dry quickly, and is commensurate with the high temperatures inside the country."

Ahmed Al Balushi: "Al-Wasl shirt relies on modern technologies to face high temperatures."
