Baniyas Club has set next Sunday a date for the players to gather at the club’s headquarters in Al Shamkha in Abu Dhabi, to undergo medical examinations to mark the start of preparations for the new season, which begins in the middle of next month, through which the “heavenly” seeks to achieve its aspirations of winning the Arab Gulf League title, after distinguished levels. A source in Baniyas Club told "Emirates Today" that the team will travel Monday to the Emirate of Fujairah to establish the preparatory camp, after the administration settled on setting up an internal camp instead of traveling abroad, due to the precautionary measures related to the Corona virus, in addition to the fact that the last camp that it established The team inside the country was successful and helped "Al-Samawi" achieve successes.

The preparations are divided into two periods: the first is related to the physical aspect, which will continue until the date of Eid al-Adha, provided that the players get a short period of rest before entering the second stage, which will witness the establishment of friendly matches with local clubs.

On the other hand, the Brazilian team player, Joao Victor, will arrive in the country tomorrow, after spending the summer vacation in his hometown, while the administration is still looking for a striker to succeed the Brazilian Pedro, who joined the ranks of Al Wahda after the end of his loan from Al Dhafra.

The draw for the Arab Gulf League put the heavenly in heavy-caliber confrontations in the first three rounds, as he will meet Al Wasl, Al Wahda and Al Ain respectively.
