The Swedish striker Robin Quaison, 27, has just played the European Championships with the Swedish national team.

His contract with the Bundesliga team recently expired - and the German team's sports director believes that they have decided to release the player.

- We think he is set to move.

We have decided to release Robin now, says the club's sports director Christian Heidel to Allgemeine Zeitung.

Quaison's salary demands and the club's need to reduce the squad should be the reasons why they decided on this.

Rumored to be Saudi Arabia

The 27-year-old is, according to Arriyadiyah, close to a move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Ettifaq FC.

It is still unclear which club the former AIK player is signing for.
