At the beginning of the first half, the German Leon Goretzka is pulled down as he goes through the English defense.

It resulted in a yellow card and a free kick.

But SVT's expert Jonas Eriksson thinks that the referee should have shown the red card.

- I had not been surprised at all.

This is a goal chance expulsion in my opinion.

It is even obvious, he says and continues his reasoning.

- It is a very clear jersey draw but it is almost impossible for the referee to see it.

It could have changed the match picture properly.

At the end of the second half, the English lived dangerously again.

That's when England's Calvin Phillips stamped Toni Kroos.

- When the stamping is done against the ankle, it is a yellow card.

But in this case, it happens up to the leg.

We see an outstretched leg with hard force.

That is to jeopardize the opponent's safety.

For me, it could still have been a red, says Eriksson.
