A reckless fan caused dozens of participants to fall on the first day of the 108th Tour de France, Saturday, 45 km from the finish line.

Videos circulated showed the cheerleader raising a cheering board on the side of the circumnavigation road, which, according to journalists, was carrying a message to her grandparents in front of the cameras, until German cyclist Tony Martin crashed into her.

As a result of this collision, the riders piled up on both sides of the road, especially after Martin lost his balance and fell off the bike, affecting the path of all the riders behind him and causing them to fall as well.

In the context, the French cyclist Julian Alaphilippe was not affected by the accident, as he overcame the place of the collective collision early, and was able to finish the race as a leader.
