The number of participants will be further increased, the government and the Swedish Public Health Agency announced today at a press conference: Indoors, 50 people are allowed, at seating 300. Outdoors 600 and 3000 if you have a seat.

Sectioning can allow the really large arenas to take in additional spectators.

AIK has, for example, sectioned in Friends so that 14040 spectators can be taken in.

The arena takes around 50,000 at a packed football match.

"All seats at Friends Arena will be released according to a pattern that is adapted to the pandemic's restrictions and rules on distance," writes AIK on its website.

Exercise races for up to 900 practitioners are allowed, where it counts at the start and finish area, ie not a total of how many are out on a track.

This is step 2 of the government's plan.

More steps are planned later this summer and autumn.
