In the first minutes, Finland was in the match.

Then there was a one-way street, where the only road led the Belgian players towards Finland's goal.

Belgium dominated, built momentum and created some chances.

But that 0-0 stood in the second half, the Finnish players have goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky to thank.

At the end of the second half, Jeremy Doku fired a shot, and Hradecky had to stretch a lot to get a hand on the ball.

After the break, Belgium continued on the same track and in the 67th minute Kevin De Bruyne played in to Romelu Lukaku who placed the ball behind Hradecky.

The goal was further ruled out due to a fine offside.

Hradecky sent the ball into his own box

But the goal would come - Hradecky, who was the reason why Finland stayed in the match, will now instead be reminded of the mistake that lowered Finland's playoff chances.

Finland out of balance and the interaction between De Bruyne and Lukaku reappeared with only ten minutes left of regular time.

De Bruyne passed the ball to the Inter striker who stood in the middle of the box, and easily drilled in the ball.

The match ended 2-0 to Belgium, which means that Finland now has to rely on other results to advance to the playoffs.
