Every day, Anicet Mbida makes us discover an innovation that could well change the way we consume.

This Monday, he offers us an invention that brings road safety and music to life.

The "Soundtrack my life" application allows you to adapt the music in real time, by an algorithm, according to acceleration, speed and even where you are.

The innovation of the day is the music festival, but in the car.

You have found a station that automatically adapts the music being played, both to the traffic and the way you drive.

It works a bit like in some video games where the music gets louder when you run into enemies, then slows down in quieter times.

There, it's the same thing: you start by choosing your atmosphere, soul, jazz or electro.

When we are in traffic jams, the music will remain Zen enough to de-stress us.

But as soon as it rolls again, the tempo will speed up.

The song is rearranged, in real time, by an algorithm, depending on acceleration, speed and even where you are.

That is to say that we will not have at all the same atmosphere when we are in a city center or on a country road.

When you take a roundabout or have just passed a toll.

How does it work?

Is it integrated into the on-board computer or is it an application?

At the moment, it is a mobile phone application.

It's called "Soundtrack my life".

The mobile's acceleration, movement and GPS sensors provide the information to adapt the music.

The app is currently being developed by Porsche and the Volkswagen Group.

It could therefore be integrated directly into its on-board computers.

But there's no reason it's just for cars.

Often, when hiking, biking, taking the train, we wonder what could be the best music to accompany us during the trip.

This type of technology could create a personalized soundtrack depending on the places you visit.

It is not yet finalized.

But in the long run, it could be more effective than the current playlists.
