Barcelona's Dembele injury rules him out of the European Nations Cup

French striker Ousmane Dembele will miss the rest of the European Cup, after he was injured during the last match against Hungary, the French Football Federation announced on Monday.

Dembele, the 24-year-old Barcelona player who has always suffered through injury, had entered as a substitute against Hungary before he injured his knee and was taken out again.

Radiological examinations revealed "a delay in his recovery that does not coincide with his remaining in the group," according to his country's federation.
