At the end of May this year, he became the first to hit over 23 meters in over 30 years.

And since then, there has been talk that Ryan Crouser is getting closer to making it impossible - to beat Randy Barnes' 31-year-old world record of 23.12 meters.

Celebrated even before the bullet landed

No one has been around for many years.

But even before the bullet landed last night, Ryan Crouser knew what had happened.

"There it was," he shouted, raising his arms in the air.

He hugged his teammates and celebrated even before the shock was measured.

And finally he got the message - 23.37 meters.

Ryan Crouser became a gold medalist in the Olympics the last time he went in the summer of 2016. And with a few weeks left until the Olympics, the question is whether anyone will be able to threaten him this year.
