According to the Japan Para-Cycling Federation, the International Sports Federation announced on the 14th of this month that the Tokyo Paralympic Games will have two slots for men and two for men.



In response to this, selection was carried out in Japan, and the boys pedaled with Masaki Fujita, who has won five medals on the road and track of the Paralympics with both legs prosthesis, and the Paralympics will participate in two consecutive tournaments. Shodai Kawamoto (24) has been appointed as the representative.



In addition, Miho Fujii (26), who has a prosthetic leg on her right leg, has been appointed as the Paralympic representative for the first time.



Four people, including Yoshiko Sugiura (50), who has already been unofficially decided as a girl, will attend the Tokyo Paralympics as a representative of Japan.



Japan has participated in 6 tournaments and won 16 medals, including 3 gold medals, on the Paralympic bicycles, and aims to win medals in multiple events at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Masaki Fujita

Masaki Fujita is 36 years old from Wakkanai, Hokkaido.



When he was 19 years old when he was a triathlon at university, he lost both legs in a car accident and is one of the few prosthetic leg players in the world.



Since winning the silver medal in the second track at the 2008 Beijing Games, which was his first appearance at the Paralympics, he has won medals for three consecutive tournaments, and is aiming to win the gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.

Shodai Kawamoto

Shodai Kawamoto is 24 years old from Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.



I lost my left leg when I was two months old due to illness, and after that, I started the competition when I participated in a bicycle experience event.



With only his right foot, he stepped on strongly and became a representative of Japan in just over half a year of competition, and at the Rio de Janeiro Paralympics that year, he won the 8th place in the track event.



Aiming to win his first medal at the Tokyo Paralympics, which will be his second consecutive appearance.

Miho Fujii

Miho Fujii is 26 years old from Mito City.



Fujii, who lost his right leg on the 10th day after birth, was originally a para-athletics player and set a Japanese record in a class with a high jump leg disorder. I turned around.



The Rio de Janeiro Paralympics missed out, but after gaining experience in international road and truck competitions, they were appointed as Paralympic representatives for the first time.
