Jin Jong-oh, 'the king of shooting', will challenge for a gold medal for the first time in four consecutive times at the Tokyo Olympics. You hear BTS music every day at the end of training these days, what is the reason?

Reporter Yoo Byung-min covered the story.

<Reporter> The

shooting event was originally banned from cheering spectators in order to increase the concentration of athletes.

However, starting from the 2016 Rio Olympics, I broke the silence by not only cheering but also playing music to induce interest.

In spite of such a rapidly changing environment, Jin Jong-oh has harvested four gold medals and two silver medals, starting with the silver medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, and is challenging for the first gold medal in the history of a Korean athlete in Tokyo for four consecutive times.

In order to adapt to the current stadium environment, Jong-oh Jin is pulling the trigger by listening to the Billboard Hot 100 music, which is often used in games.

Listening to BTS music has become a daily routine.

[Jong-oh Jin / National Shooting Team: I think the song will probably play on the Billboard chart rankings. This is the number one song and if we do it together, the flow will be disrupted. I'm listening intently. BTS.] Although the

50m main event has been abolished, we aim for the top in the 10m air pistol and the newly created mixed event.

[Jong-oh Jin / National Shooting Team: I think one of the two will be (gold medal). I am confident.]

Especially in mixed events, I work with 22-year-old Chuo Eun.

[Jin Jong-oh / National Shooting Team: I told you to call me Dad. I want to continue mental training. I have to teach you a lot. Because it's a team.] Even

though I'm 42 years old, Jong-oh Jin still talks about the challenge instead of 'the last'.

[Jin Jong-oh / Shooting National team: so far under the fire to life, we will greet you with a perfect view of the fire.]
