Our national team is awaiting the draw for the final stage of the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, on the first of next July at eleven o'clock in the afternoon, UAE time, via video communication technology.

The Emirates Football Association had received a letter from the Asian Football Confederation specifying the date and place of the draw, with an explanation of the mechanism used to conduct it, and the distribution of the teams into two groups of six teams each, arranged at levels from the first to the sixth according to the new classification of the teams, which will be issued by the Federation International Football Association on the eighteenth of this month.

In the letter, which sent a copy of it to the member national federations, the AFC asked to notify the coach of each national team to be available during the draw ceremony, which will be transmitted via video technology through a link that will be sent to the national federations later.

It is noteworthy that the last classification of the qualified teams is as follows:

First: Japan and Iran

Second: South Korea and Australia

Third: Saudi Arabia and Iraq

Fourth: UAE and China

Fifth: Syria and Oman

Sixth: Vietnam and Lebanon
