Our national team coach, Van Marwijk, expressed his happiness at the team's qualification to the final stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, and reaching the 2023 Asian Cup final, by defeating Vietnam by three goals to two goals on Tuesday night at the conclusion of the second round qualifiers.
Speaking at the press conference after the match, the coach said: “From the beginning, I said that the task would not be an easy task. We had to win four matches to qualify. I am very proud of my team and I am happy that we succeeded in achieving the goal that we worked for, and I think this team has a good future.” ".

Commenting on the national team’s two goals in the last minutes, Marvik said: “I am very happy with the team’s performance. We had the opportunity to score more goals during the match. We did not use it properly, but I was not satisfied with the last minutes. We made two mistakes that resulted in two goals in our net.” .
